"Japan also helps Santa": Yup, they sure do: by sating Santa’s lust for off key children’s songs. Why do all the kids looks so scared in Toyland? Shouldn’t somebody investigate this?

Um, aren't most Japanese people Shinto or Buddhists? Bad movie, but as always, a GREAT review! I am going to watch this tonight if I can squeeze the time in!

I saw this around 45 years ago at one of it's annual releases to the kiddie matinee circuit... Even creepier in a dark theater when you're a preschooler!

Until the Internet age, I thought I'd hallucinated the damned thing! I thought it couldn't have been a real movie... Surely no one would subject innocent children to such high-octane nightmare fuel.

I got this one on DVD and made it a Christmas tradition for my granddaughter -along with "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny" and "The Star Wars Holiday Special" (really). She loves it. I think her mom is considering contacting the authorities.
