Thanks to Sean for pulling my chestnuts out of the fire…so to speak. Once again, the Monster Shack’s overworked and underpaid proof-reader and stalwart guest reviewer has managed to find time to pound out a review called Attack From Space. As the title suggests, it’s about an attack from, yep, space. Anyway, it’s cheesy and bad so be sure to check it out!
I actually have severeal “Starman” movies on these DVD compilation sets. Wow! How did MST3K miss this one? Any of them would have been great companion pieces to “Prince of Space” or “Invasion of the Neptune Men”.
They all have the following:
A hero in a fey costume…
Comically inept villians…
Plots devoid of logic…
Annoying children who, for some reason, are allowed free access to top secret science/military projects…
And tons and tons of movie science (thats science that only exists in movies).
One personal note, doesn’t the High Council look like they belong in a Residents video?
