After a long January, a dark February , and a cold March, I’m happy to be able to give you not 1, not 2, but 3 reviews. (Ok, I wrote 1 and Sean wrote the other 2…)
I hope you enjoy them and please feel free to give some feedback. Actually, Sean and I had an interesting email exchange about his War of the Worlds review which I will post in the comments section…feel free to join in the fray 🙂
So, with no further ado, Dennis gives you Empire of the Ants, and Sean offers up War of the Worlds and Independence Day…Huzzah!
(Soon, he’ll have to start paying me! (Just kidding Sean!)

By the way, it was just a funny coincidence that 2 of the movies in this latest posting were based on H.G. Wells stories. 🙂
Mere coincedence.
But of course, I’m not clever enough to think of that on my own
Of course you are clever enough, it is all a part of your master plan to take over the world with bad movies… From Castle Forrester… Hey, wait a minute!
Actually, I didn’t remember that Independence Day was a kind of remake of War of the Worlds when I decided to pair it with, uh, War of the Worlds. It must have been fate, or stupidity, or a high energy beam from space, that made me do it. And regarding that theory of a connection between the Monster Shack and Castle Forrester – I believe the Air Force has issued a statement saying it
A) Doesn’t exist.
B) Poses no threat to the national security.
And that should put the issue to rest!
