 A Quiet Place You better keep quiet if you don't want to be eaten by slimy monters...actually, the movie is a lot better than it sounds.  Godzilla - City on the Edge of Battle Sean steps in again with a detailed dissection of the latest animated Godzilla feature...No stone is left unturned in this one...  Strays Beware the cats! No, not giant cats, or rabid cats, or anything cats...just cats. Sounds pretty bad, doesn't it? Well, you won't be disappointed.  The Cloverfield Paradox In league with Arch Super Villain J.J. Abrams it has released a movie that’s just like an old plastic model kit. They kindly open the box, dump the pieces over our head and say, “Here, you build it.” What fun!  Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters Guest reviewer Grumpy McFaultfinder pulls this one apart...and what he finds isn't pretty....  Frogs A low-budget eco-thriller starring multitudes of bored toads and the other standard creepy-crawlies. Can humanity survive the slimy onslaught?  Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell A cute puppy has a horrible secret...  The Dragon's Challenge Spider-Man is back in this funny little 1970's TV Movie...Good stuff! A modern take on a legendary story.  The Star Wars Holiday Special No. I'm not making this up. It's a totally bizarre made-for-TV variety special made during the Star Wars heydays of the late 70's. Trust me, you'll never be the same after checking this one out.  Top 5 Incompetent Invasions Due to incompetence, poor planning, or just being plain stupid, these creatures met more than their match after setting foot on good old Mother Earth. Nice try, guys!  Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark Megalodon vs a giant robot shark with crappy AI? Would could possibly go wrong?  Killdozer It's big, it's yellow, and it's damn good at digging...Yes, it's Killdozer, the possessed bulldozer. No, seriously.  Pulgasari Kaiju madness returns to The Monster Shack as Guest Foreign Correspondent Sean Ledden reports from Brooklyn, where the strangely sympathetic progeny of a creepy Asian dictator gets a public showing.  Octaman After a series of atomic tests off the coast of Mexico (huh?!), mutant octopi begin showing up and freakin' out the local fishermen...Octaman, the grand-daddy of them all, stomps around, steals women, and makes a nuisance of himself in this obscure 1970's sci-fi flick.  Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe See Jesse "The Bod" Ventura as Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe! Will he be able to stop Secundas from ripping the Anti-Life Equation from the Comater's brain? Read on and see!  Phantom from Space An invisible alien crash lands on Earth, walks around, loses his helmet and then dies. Wow, that was exciting.  The Sacrifice Sean Ledden strikes again! The Monster Shack puts on its best soiled T-shirt and goes to film school! There it encounters a beloved classic of high-brow European gloom. It's a deeply felt, and deeply terrible look at one man's psychological breakdown, I mean religious awakening. Watching it just might inspire something similar in you. Be warned!  Machine Head Take 2 parts Re-Animator and 1 part small engine repair and what do you get? Machine Head.  Godzilla Sean Ledden examines this clunker and the results aren't pretty...  The X from Outer Space I never new that "X" is Japanese for goofy space chicken...  Sharknado If you love sharks, and if you love tornadoes, then is this movie for you!  The Incredible Melting Man Steve the astronaut gets too close to Saturn and returns to Earth with horrible skin problems and a huge chip on his shoulder! |
